Marvel Mystery Comics #51 Chicago pedigree (Timely, 1944) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. The Human Torch isn't a moment too soon to rescue a flameless Toro from an unsightly, not to mention exquisitely painful, Nazi branding in this Alex Schomburg cover. This is a beautiful pedigree copy, the nicest issue #51 that CGC has reviewed as of this writing. An impact dent at the upper back spine is just about all that keeps this from Near Mintdom. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $1,300.
