Marvel Mystery Comics #29 (Timely, 1942) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. We haven't seen a copy of this issue with a grade this high since October 2002! The impressively ghoulish Human Torch/bondage cover by Alex Schomburg boasts hooded tommy gun-wielding villains, goblins, and a saw mill deathtrap. If that's not enough for you, the contents include a decapitation panel and a Mickey Spillane text story. Carl Burgos and Bill Everett provided the interior art. Overstreet 2018 VF/NM 9.0 value = $4,829; NM- 9.2 value = $6,900. CGC census 11/18: 4 in 9.0, none higher.
