Marvel Mystery Comics #18 Recil Macon pedigree (Timely, 1941) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white pages. Schomburg's covers just keep getting better! The torture devices are becoming more inventive, this time featuring Toro encased in a cylinder, about to be lowered into certain doom. Hooded baddies are also included. Recil Macon did a good job preserving this one, as it managed to survive to this point as a NM- 9.2. The only defect visible is a dent at the top back cover; otherwise the book is incredible, with perfect edges and spine. Overstreet 2002 NM 9.4 value = $2,400.
