Description
Marvel Boy #1 Carson City pedigree (Marvel, 1950) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. Timely/Atlas/Marvel trotted out this titled character a number of times over the years, beginning with Daring Mystery #6 back in 1940. This is the first of two issues published in the early 1950s, featuring a golden haired "boy from another planet," who gets the origin story treatment this time out. Russ Heath provided the sharp graphics. Also looking pretty sharp is this honey of a pedigreed comic. Of the scant five copies of this issue currently listed in CGC's census, this one leads the pack. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,068; NM- 9.2 value = $1,460. CGC census 10/06: 1 in 9.0, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
