Kid Komics #2 (Timely, 1943) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. While the Young Allies are the best-remembered characters of this series, top billing on this first issue went to Captain Wonder. It was the last appearance of the Captain, but at least he got a action-packed Alex Schomburg cover as a nice sendoff! The youngster in bondage is his sidekick, Tim. Also making his last appearance here was Subbie, a boy Sub-Mariner character. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $1,225. CGC census 9/05: 2 in 7.5, 1 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
