Key Comics #3 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (Consolidated Magazines, 1945) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages. A great and creepy Walter Johnson skull cover wraps this rarity that is one of only two copies that we have ever seen, and the other was a FN/VF raw copy. Johnson also does interior art for the book. Vibrant and rich cover colors are the hallmark of this pretty pedigree copy that sits alone at the top of CGC's current census. Overstreet 2014 VF 8.0 value = $128; VF/NM 9.0 value = $209.
