Exciting Comics #28 (Nedor/Better/Standard, 1943) CGC FN- 5.5 Off-white pages. This is a Gerber "white space," and we can see why Ernst Gerber wasn't able to find a copy to photograph for his Photo-Journal -- we haven't offered a copy in any grade in nine long years! And what a desirable cover, too, with the Black Terror battling Nazis underwater. The Guide value remains modest since there are so few recorded sales, but we doubt that a bid of the Guide value will come close to getting this one. Overstreet 2012 FN 6.0 value = $618. CGC census 7/12: 1 in 5.5, 3 higher.
