Detective Comics #93 (DC, 1944) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. This original-owner copy missed out on being the highest-graded by the thinnest of margins, with the census-topper as of this writing being a notch higher at 8.5. This is the nicest copy of the book we've seen, and a spectacular Dick Sprang cover makes the issue a real eye-catcher. Sprang handled the issue's interior art as well. The Boy Commandos, Air Wave, and Slam Bradley also appear. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $488. CGC census 1/06: 1 in 8.0, 1 higher. From the Collection of Harold Curtis.CGC Grader Notes:
