Detective Comics #66 (DC, 1942) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. This impeccable copy of the origin and first appearance of Two-Face is the single highest-graded copy on the planet! We did auction a VF/NM 9.0 copy way back in 2006 (when some of you were still kids!) underscoring the rarity and lack of opportunities to purchase copies with superior grades such as this. You'll see nary a dust shadow, nor any other discoloration on the white areas of this fresh-looking copy. Jerry Robinson turned in the great cover image for this issue, with Batman and Robin performing a high-wire act, harkening back to Robin's (aka Dick Grayson, of The Flying Graysons) circus origins! The book contains the third appearance of the Boy Commandos, and is currently listed on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics. Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $45,000.
