This sharp-looking copy, with its "laughing" Batman cover, features the death of Hugo Strange, the Dark Knight's first major villain. Art comes courtesy of Bob Kane, Howard Sherman, Irwin Hasen, and Jerry Robinson; Fred Ray illustrated a text piece. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $1,444. CGC census 7/05: 3 in 8.0, 1 higher.
