Detective Comics #29 (DC, 1939) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Cream to off-white pages. Batman's second-ever cover appearance puts this issue high on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list -- #14 to be exact. The issue also has the first appearance of Dr. Death, in Part One of a two-part story. It's difficult to find unrestored copies in any grade. The Bob Kane cover was named one of the top 10 Golden Age comic book covers in a Heritage-CGC poll in 2016. Overstreet 2020 VG 4.0 value = $43,600; FN 6.0 value = $65,400.
