DC finally provided an origin for the Joker, 11 years after he first appeared in Batman #1, making this issue one of the most valuable in the run since the early appearances of the Dynamic Duo a decade before. Lew Schwartz provided both the cover and interior art. Overstreet 2011 FN 6.0 value = $1,269; VF 8.0 value = $3,000. CGC census 8/11: 5 in 6.5, 12 higher.
