Daring Mystery Comics #5 (Timely, 1940) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages. The Falcon makes his first appearance here, seen on the issue's thrilling bondage cover. The cover is attributed to Alex Schomburg. Our most recent sale of a CGC 5.5 copy with cream to off-white pages ended at $9,000 in April 2023. In case you're wondering, this is the only Timely cover the Falcon appeared on, and he only had two subsequent story appearances (Daring Mystery #6 and Human Torch #1). Overstreet 2023 FN 6.0 value = $1,458; VF 8.0 value = $3,550. CGC census 5/24: 5 in 7.0, 5 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
