Cover Proof/Color Separations for Black Cat Mystery #46, Artwork by Lee Elias (Harvey, 1953). There's nothing like having a head in a bottle, as depicted on this cover proof with artwork by Lee Elias. This lot includes seven printed pages: a full-color cover proof, proofs of the black plate (line art with no color), and the complete color plate (all colors with no black line art), plus the four color separation pages (C, M, Y, and K), all printed on white paper. All these pages have been stapled together along with a cover sheet from the Koppel Photo-Engraving Company, who obviously did all of Harvey's printing at that time. Condition overall is very good, with creasing in the top right corner and edge wear to all sheets; the last page, the yellow color plate, is detached from the staples. Please note that this does not include a copy of the comic, only the pages as listed here, and there is no original art in this lot. 8.5" x 14".
