Description
Comic Cavalcade #6 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (DC, 1944) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white to white pages. The paper drive for the War effort, portrayed on the cover by Wonder Woman, Flash, and the Green Lantern, sent many good comic books to their graves during the 1940s. Fortunately for us, Davis Crippen kept his books safe from that terrible fate. Our cover trio is joined by Mutt and Jeff, Hop Harrigan, and Sargon, the Sorcerer in features drawn by H. G. Peter, E. E. Hibbard, Howard Purcell, and Paul Reinman. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $372; VF 8.0 value = $775. CGC census 8/06: 1 in 7.0, 3 higher. From the Crippen Collection.CGC Grader Notes:
