Description
Choice Comics #1 (Great Comics Publications, 1941) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages. This is perhaps one of the most bizarre covers of all-time. Here we have Kangaroo Man holding a purple kangaroo to deliver blows to two ne'er-do-wells. Kangaroo Man appears to be just a little too happy in going about this task, making one wonder what on earth he had for breakfast. The cover of this most unusual comic also promises "Laffin' Gas" and the Fire-Eater who is the "Enemy of the Underworld!" A very odd comic from the very early stages of the Golden Age that will be sure to delight the winning bidder for many decades to come. This particular copy has exceptionally rich colors. Overstreet 2002 FN 6.0 value = $492; VF 8.0 value = $1,023.Auction Info
