Cat-Man Comics #28 The Promise Collection Pedigree (Continental, 1945) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. This copy is tied with only one other for CGC's top honors, and Gerber rates the issue a "7" ("scarce") on its Scarcity Index. The classic Dr. Macabre skull cover is by one of our favorite Golden Age cover artists, the great L. B. Cole. Inside the issue, Catman discovers Kitten's secret identity. Nina Albright, Bob Fujitani, Don Rico, and Rudy Palais are responsible for the interior art. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $6,000. CGC census 6/21: 2 in 9.4, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
