Description
Cat-Man Comics #28 (Continental, 1945) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white pages. This is a book that is not easily found in high grades, and we've only seen three with grades above this one. The classic Dr. Macabre skull cover is by L. B. Cole. Kitten's secret identity is revealed to Catman. The story art is by Nina Albright, Bob Fujitani, Don Rico, and Rudy Palais. The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books rates this issue a "7" ("scarce") on its Scarcity Index. CGC notes, "Very minor amount of glue on spine of cover." Overstreet 2024 VG 4.0 value = $1,298; FN 6.0 value = $1,947. CGC census 1/25: 5 in 5.0, 15 higher. From the Dubai Collection.CGC Grader Notes:
