Description
Captain Midnight #1 Pennsylvania pedigree (Fawcett, 1942) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. Fawcett introduced its own version of Captain Midnight here, with a different look than in his previous comic appearances in The Funnies and elsewhere -- the standard aviator look gave way to a more superhero-like outfit reportedly designed by Mac Raboy. This issue, with art by the Jack Binder shop, recounts the Captain's origin story. There's also Fawcett's standard first-issue ritual, namely Captain Marvel on the cover introducing the newcomer.
