Captain America Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Cream to off-white pages. An issue notable for containing a text story by Stan Lee, which was his first work for Timely. The classic Red Skull / bondage cover is by Alex Schomburg. The Captain America story and art were by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, with additional art provided by Mac Raboy. This comic has risen in popularity over the past few years, and it is currently #45 on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. CGC notes, "Very minor amount of color touch on cover. Very minor amount of glue on cover and first two pages." Overstreet 2024 GD 2.0 value = $3,700; VG 4.0 value = $7,400. CGC census 8/25: 6 in 3.0, 47 higher.
