Captain America Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC GD+ 2.5 Cream to off-white pages. An unrestored copy of this book is always a welcome sight, and while this copy has obviously been read many a time, it lacks the "deal-breaker" flaws that books in the GD range often exhibit. And this issue has many delights to offer, starting with a great Alex Schomburg bondage cover featuring the Red Skull (reports of the Skull's death in issue #1 were greatly exaggerated). There's top quality art inside the book too, natch, with the famous Simon and Kirby team doing the honors. Overstreet 2006 GD 2.0 value = $1,028. CGC census 3/06: 1 in 2.5, 16 higher.
