    Captain America Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC Apparent FN- 5.5 Slight (B-1) Cream to off-white pages. This issue is a milestone book for containing a text story written by a very young Stan Lee (he was just 19 at the time, and this was his first comic book work), and it has a classic Red Skull/bondage cover by Alex Schomburg. The issue is currently tied for the #52 spot on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. Story and art by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Mac Raboy art. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: spine split sealed to cover, cover reinforced. (Tape on centerfold.)" Overstreet 2019 GD 2.0 value = $2,600; VG 4.0 value = $5,200; FN 6.0 value = $7,800.
