Captain America Comics #2 (Timely, 1941) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Light tan to off-white pages. Features a classic Hitler cover by Joe Simon, with the accompanying story and art by Simon and Jack Kirby. Also includes the first appearance of Cap's round shield that would become an icon in the world of comics. Al Avison, Al Gabriele, and Reed Crandall art. Currently #50 on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. CGC notes, "Very minor amount of color touch on cover." Overstreet 2024 GD 2.0 value = $3,300; VG 4.0 value = $6,600.
