Description
Captain America Comics 132-Page Issue (Timely, 1942) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Cream to off-white pages. This is the second complete copy we've ever seen of this rarity, and the demand for this item is such that we have auctioned incomplete copies for as much as $5,400! Overstreet ranks this among the top 50 Golden Age books and calls it "very rare." The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books gives it an "8" ("rare" by its scale). And in our nine years of comic auctions, we've seen only two other copies of the Canadian edition one-shot that's referred to as a Captain America Comics Annual and has 132 pages! It reprints Marvel Mystery #33 and Captain America #18 in black and white. Syd Shores provided the cover art. CGC notes, "3 pieces of tape on interior cover & 1 on 1st page." Overstreet 2010 GD 2.0 value = $5,500; VG 4.0 value = $11,000. CGC census 10/10: 1 in 3.0, 1 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
