Batman #5 (DC, 1941) CGC VF 8.0 White pages. Like most Golden Age copies in this grade, this one has aspects of an even higher grade, including the outstanding page quality. It's a "big" book all right, a key early issue with a great Bob Kane cover and interior art from Kane and Jerry Robinson. The Joker appears, and there's also the first appearance of the Batmobile with its bat-head front. Overstreet 2012 VF 8.0 value = $4,738. CGC census 11/12: 5 in 8.0, 15 higher.
