Description

Batman #3 (DC, 1940) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages. Black covers are always a wonder to behold when in high grade, and this one is certainly no exception. The smudges and creases that would normally show up so clearly are noticeably absent on this high-grade wonder, and the white pages are an added plus. Catwoman also models her costume for the first time in this issue, becoming the first costumed villainess in comics. Overstreet 2011 VF 8.0 value = $7,600; VF/NM 9.0 value = $13,800. CGC census 8/11: 6 in 8.5, 8 higher.
