    Description

Batman #25 (DC, 1944) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages. A red-hot Dick Sprang cover kicks off this landmark issue, which presents the only Golden Age pairing of the Dark Knight's most dastardly foes, the Joker and the Penguin. Overstreet notes this as the first team-up between two major villains. Interior art is provided by Jack Burnley and Jerry Robinson. The cover's black background reflects very little real wear, making this an attractive mid-grade example. Overstreet 2005 FN 6.0 value = $693; VF 8.0 value = $1,444. CGC census 6/05: 6 in 7.0, 11 higher.
