    Batman #1 (DC, 1940) CGC GD- 1.8 Off-white pages. Even in modest grade, this copy of one of the most coveted issues in the history of comics is compelling. At #6 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Books list, its value is increasing at a higher rate than most of the books ahead of it. Relatively few "Universal Grade" copies come up for auction, and a 2.0 copy sold for over $23,000 in our May, 2011 Signature auction. Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson cover and interior art.
