Amazing-Man Comics #8 Mile High pedigree (Centaur, 1939) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. Comic books from Centaur Publications continue to command great interest among Golden Age collectors, and this fine specimen shows you why. The most renowned of all pedigrees provides this stunning copy, the only one of #8 to be certified by CGC to date. It's doubtful there's a nicer copy in existence of this issue that Gerber rates "uncommon." Bill Everett provided the cover art here, and some interior art as well, barely one month after he introduced his most famous subject, the Sub-Mariner, in Marvel Comics #1.
