Description
Amazing-Man Comics #22 (Centaur, 1941) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Cream to off-white pages. This book sells for many multiples of Guide because it is simply one of the toughest and most desirable Centaurs. We last offered a copy in 2003. The classic Paul Gustavson cover certainly illustrates the intrigue that the Centaur books have to collectors. Amazing-Man, Nazi monsters wreaking havoc, a helpless female -- it just doesn't get much better than this folks, especially on a non-Timely comic! Gerber rates the book "uncommon", but "practically non-existent" would be our rating! CGC has certified just four copies above GD/VG 3.0 to date. CGC notes, "Centerfold detached." Overstreet 2019 GD 2.0 value = $1,000; VG 4.0 value = $2,000. CGC census 8/19: 1 in 3.0, 4 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
