    Description

All Star Comics #8 (DC, 1942) CGC Apparent VG+ 4.5 Slight (C-1) Cream to off-white pages. This historic book features the origin and first appearance of Wonder Woman, whose popularity was boosted last year by the Wonder Woman and Justice League movies. Over the past three years, it's risen from #21 to #12 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list, and with a sequel scheduled for next year it will likely climb higher. Also inside: Dr. Fate dons a new helmet, Starman stories begin, and he and Dr. Mid-Nite join the Justice Society of America. The memorable cover is by E. E. Hibbard. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: small amount of glue on cover. (All three edges trimmed.) From a bound volume." Overstreet 2017 GD 2.0 value = $15,000; VG 4.0 value = $30,000.
