Description

All Star Comics #8 (DC, 1942) CBCS GD- 1.8 Off-white pages. It's the first appearance and origin of Wonder Woman, and it's one of the 30 most valuable comic books according to Overstreet. This GD- copy has off-white pages; the cover is still attached at both staples, and while there are some small pieces missing from the cover's right edge, all story panels are intact. Wonder Woman wasn't mentioned in the JSA story, or on the cover. Starman and Dr. Mid-Nite became members in this issue. The book has E. E. Hibbard cover art, with interior art by Sheldon Moldoff, Jack Burnley, Bernard Baily, and H. G. Peter. Currently the #20 book on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. Overstreet 2016 GD 2.0 value = $11,000. CGC census 8/16: 2 in 1.8, 78 higher.
