All Select Comics #5 (Timely, 1944) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. Only a handful of copies of #5 have been slabbed to date, and only two copies currently out-rank this stunner. In addition to stars Captain America, the Human Torch, and the Sub-Mariner (appearing in separate features), there's an adventure of the fleet-footed Whizzer. The book has an Alex Schomburg Japanese War, Battle of Corregidor cover. Bob Powell, Jack Binder, and Al Gabriele art. Last Sub-Mariner appearance in the title.
