All Select Comics #1 (Timely, 1943) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. This classic cover by Alex Schomburg is considered one of the greatest of the Golden Age, and is often reprinted in comics-related books. Captain America, the Human Torch, and Sub-Mariner were Timely's big three, and this series was created to give them even more exposure. The black area at the top is often found with chunks missing, or at least a few color breaks, but that is not the case for this striking high-grade copy. Overstreet 2012 VF/NM 9.0 value = $21,000; NM- 9.2 value = $31,000. CGC census 5/13: 2 in 9.0, 4 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
