All Select Comics #1 Incomplete (Timely, 1943) CGC Qualified VG- 3.5 Cream to off-white pages. The classic World War II Nazi cover, by Alex Schomburg, has Captain America, the Human Torch, and the Sub-Mariner (whose features all begin in this issue) taking out Hitler's Berchtesgaden fortress (the Eagle's Nest). The Black Widow gets a story in this first issue of the title, which is currently the #66 book on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. CGC notes, "Page 19 Missing."
