Adventure Comics #85 Mile High pedigree (DC, 1943) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. This remains the only copy of the issue certified with a grade above 8.5 as of this writing. Simon and Kirby drew this issue's cover as well as the Sandman story inside the comic, and Kirby moved from the drawing board to the typewriter to script the Manhunter backup feature (drawn by Pierce Rice). Other features include regulars Starman and the Shining Knight. CGC notes, "From the collection of Nicolas Cage." Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $1,600.
