Adventure Comics #73 Rockford pedigree (DC, 1942) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. One of Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Books. Overstreet calls the issue "scarce." Tied for the honor of being Simon and Kirby's first cover for DC. Manhunter is the cover feature, and this issue has the origin and the first appearance of the new character. Overstreet 2011 VF/NM 9.0 value = $17,275; NM- 9.2 value = $25,000. CGC census 4/12: 1 in 9.0, 1 higher.
