Description
Adventure Comics #58 (DC, 1941) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. Paul Kirk, Manhunter begins his original run in this early issue, which stars Bernard Baily's Hourman as the cover feature. Paul Kirk would be replaced in issue #73 by the Joe Simon/Jack Kirby version of Manhunter, called at first Rick Nelson before reverting back to Paul Kirk -- got all that? Never mind, 'cause what's really important here is the condition. Nicolas Cage sure knew how to pick 'em! We might add that Superman's creative team, Siegel and Shuster, also contributed to this issue. CGC notes, "From the Collection of Nicolas Cage." Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $3,200.
