Adventure Comics #42 (DC, 1939) CGC FN- 5.5 Cream to off-white pages. Ranked a Gerber "7" or "scarce", this was the second Sandman cover by Creig Flessel, which is actually an early grey tone cover. Bob Kane and Jim Chambers stories and art. Wayne Boring art. This mid-grade copy presents much better than the grade would suggest, and we had not even seen a copy with a grade above VG in almost a decade! Overstreet 2019 FN 6.0 value = $2,658. CGC census 8/19: 2 in 5.5, 7 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
