    Action Comics #8 Signature Series (DC, 1939) CGC GD 2.0 Light tan to off-white pages. This early Superman issue comes from the personal files of Comic Book Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Robinson, best known as the co-creator of Batman's sidekick Robin, and the Dynamic Duo's arch-nemesis, the Joker. The issue contains Superman's first use of super-hearing. The American frontier cover is by Fred Guardineer. Guardineer, Joe Shuster, and Bernard Baily art. CGC notes, "Signed on first page By Jerry Robinson on 11/1/09. From the Collection of Jerry Robinson." Overstreet 2017 GD 2.0 value = $2,541. CGC census 11/17: 1 in 2.0, 7 higher.
