    Description

Action Comics #47 (DC, 1942) CGC FN+ 6.5 Cream to off-white pages. Lex Luthor, Superman's baneful bald baddie, makes his first cover appearance in this punchy Creig Flessel piece. This is a respectable, resplendent copy that is denied a higher grade by average spine and staple stress. If you're holding out for a sharper copy of issue #47, don't hold your breath -- the few in CGC's latest census rate only slightly better, maxing out at VF/NM. Overstreet 2003 FN 6.0 value = $573.
