    Action Comics #15 (DC, 1939) CGC GD 2.0 Slightly brittle pages. Superman's fifth cover appearance is featured on this Fred Guardineer underwater cover. This issue's August 1939 date places it two months before Marvel Comics #1 hit the stands. Guardineer, Joe Shuster, Bernard Baily, and Bob Kane art. CGC notes, "Tape on cover." Overstreet 2017 GD 2.0 value = $2,432. CGC census 5/18: 5 in 2.0, 35 higher.
