    Description

Weird Science #14 (#3) Gaines File pedigree 8/11 (EC, 1950) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. This third issue's end-of-the-world cover is classic Feldstein all the way. Feldstein was a master at creating spell-binding covers as he has depicted one robot observing a tattered newspaper proclaiming the threat of atom bombs on the cover. It is also a Gaines file copy in 9.6, and has art by Harvey Kurtzman and Jack Kamen. ECs are widely regarded as the best of the best, and this copy ranks as one of the best of the best of the best (think about it!). Only one other copy has a better grade from CGC. Beautiful in every way; it has a flawless spine, four corners that are so sharp you could poke your eye out, and white pages. Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $1,100.
