Venus #11 (Atlas, 1950) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. It's the end of the world, and poor Venus looks like she's the only one able to cope on this cool cover. During the cold war era of the 1950s, such doomsday stories became quite popular, as a worried public sweated over the "bomb." One of the great DC war artists, Russ Heath, did some tremendous sci-fi and horror work, and an example is contained inside. This fresh looking copy is the highest CGC-graded unrestored copy to date. Overstreet 2003 VF 8.0 value = $531.
