Description
Strange Adventures #1 (DC, 1950) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. This premiere issue of the long-running DC series features a "Destination Moon" photo cover and movie adaptation. You get a preview of the classic sci-fi film, along with some other great stories, including the beginning of Darwin Jones. Jam-packed with 52 pages of greatness, this title didn't lose steam from here, going on for 244 issues. The book features art by Dick Sprang and Curt Swan, along with Jim Mooney, Paul Norris, and Howard Sherman. There is a crack on the upper back left of slab, and a small crack along the lower left side (viewing from the front) of the slab. These cracks aren't visible from the scan.
