Science Comics #1 (Fox, 1940) CGC FN- 5.5 Cream to off-white pages. Lou Fine pulled out the stops with this disturbing bondage/electric shock torture/sexy babe in danger cover. This premiere issue featured the first appearance of the Eagle, Panther Woman, and Electro (who would later become Dynamo). Fox books from this period are notoriously difficult to find in grades much better than this - the finest copy CGC has certified to date rated a barely better FN+ 6.5. CGC notes, "Store stamp on 1st page." Overstreet 2005 FN 6.0 value = $1,290. CGC census 7/05: 1 in 5.5, 1 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
