    Description

Lars of Mars #10 (Ziff-Davis, 1951) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. In this truly classic robot cover, the fantastic crusader from Mars battles terror from the sky. This issue features three magnificent stories penciled and inked by Murphy Anderson at the top of his form. Fans of his DC work will be surprised to find out how much better his work was in this issue than his work for DC. Rounding out the issue is a story by Gene Colan. A beautiful copy with killer gloss and off-white pages. Off-white pages are much rarer for Ziff-Davis books than for Golden Age books, making this a highly desirable copy, which originally belonged to Bob Overstreet. According to the CGC Census there are no higher-graded copies. Overstreet 2002 VF 8.0 value = $500 ; NM 9.4 value = $875.
