Teen-Age Diary Secrets #7 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (St. John, 1949) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. CGC calls this one Diary Secrets while Overstreet has it under Teen-Age Diary Secrets... we're just happy to see the book at all! Michelle Nolan, who seemingly owns every 1940s-1950s comic book, put this on her list "Do These Issues Exist?" some years ago, adding the notation "Can we assume #7 was never published?" Here it is, and since it has Matt Baker art, we expect plenty of interest. Bizarrely enough, this series went from an oversized format to regular size, to this digest issue, back to regular, back to a digest, and then back to regular size with a new title. And yes, all of this will be on the test! St. John was obviously partial to the digest format, which was tried again with the Baker-drawn It Rhymes With Lust soon thereafter. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $290. CGC census 12/06: 1 in 9.2, none higher.
