Phantom Lady #15 The Promise Collection Pedigree (Fox Features Syndicate, 1947) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. Until now, the highest grade we'd seen for this book was NM- 9.2, and that was nine years ago. Matt Baker provided the cover and story art. The Phantom Lady is injected with experimental drugs, and panels of a man being burned alive and a topless female are also to be found inside. Overstreet 2020 NM- 9.2 value = $5,200. CGC census 6/21: 3 in 9.6, none higher.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
