Our Army at War #2 Carson City pedigree (DC, 1952) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. Have a good look at this copy, as it may be the best existing one of this hard-to-find book, in fact it's the only one graded above 5.0 by CGC as of this writing. Not only is it the first time we've seen this issue here at Heritage, we haven't seen one change hands in any venue of late! The copy is from the famed Carson City collection, also known as the Comstock Lode, a hoard amassed in Nevada by a voracious collector who stored them in shacks from the time of purchase through the early 1990s. If all that doesn't whet your appetite, we'll also note that the issue has a Carmine Infantino cover, with interior art by Infantino, Bob Oksner, and ace war artists Mort Drucker and Irv Novick. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $536. CGC census 5/05: 1 in 7.5, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0365758001 and purchase grader's notes if available.
